Frequently Asked Questions

Abstracts & Presentations

When will I receive further information about my presentation?

Further information regarding presentation scheduling, timing and requirements will be provided to accepted presenters once the conference program has been finalised.

What are the poster requirements?

Poster specifications and presentation guidelines are currently being finalised and will be provided to poster presenters shortly.

My abstract was accepted as a different presentation format from the one I nominated. Why?

Presentation formats were allocated following peer review and took into consideration review scores, the number of presentation slots available and the overall balance of the conference program. Due to the number of high-quality submissions received, it was not possible to accommodate all presentation preferences.

Do I need to register if my abstract has been accepted?

Yes. At least one presenting author for each accepted abstract must register for the conference to secure inclusion in the final program.

Financial Support

Are travel grants or bursaries available for accepted presenters?

Unfortunately, the conference does not currently have a travel grant or bursary scheme available for accepted abstract presenters. Presenters are responsible for arranging and funding their own travel and accommodation unless advised otherwise by the Organising Committee.

Are registration waivers available for students or early-career researchers?

Unfortunately, we are not currently able to offer registration waivers or financial assistance with registration fees for accepted presenters.

Why isn't financial assistance available for accepted presenters?

The One Health, Multiple Solutions Conference is hosted by CEAStAR and is being run largely on a cost-recovery basis, with registration and sponsorship income contributing towards the costs of delivering the event. As a result, there is no general pool of funding available to support individual presenter registration, travel or accommodation costs.

Registration

When should I register?

If your abstract has been accepted, we encourage you to register as soon as possible to confirm your participation and ensure your presentation can be included in the final program.

Can my institution pay my registration fee?

Yes. Our preferred payment method is online registration and payment by credit card through the conference registration site. If your institution is covering your registration, we recommend arranging for payment using an institutional or corporate credit card where possible.
